Adults’ Training Groups
Goal-directed and diverse training
Adult coaching groups train with a goal and in a variety of ways. Each coaching group’s training package is unique to the selected group and coaching team each season.
The street dance coaching group’s training sessions take time for technique, freestyle and several choreographic projects during the season. All of these areas are equally important in training, and dancers are encouraged to focus on individual training through teamwork.

Rascalz
Rascalz is an adult coaching group that will train purposefully and diversely in the 2025-2026 season lead by the respected dance teachers Lilli Huttula and Roza Ahmad. The group’s guest choreographer is Hozan Omar. Rascalz has been part of VKTY’s activities since the beginning, and this season, due to the coaches who have returned, the group acts even more strongly as a catapult for the comprehensive development of young dancers.

R24
R24 is a collective that includes four coaching groups; R24 Immersive, R24 Hiphop, R24 Intensive and R24 Performance. Each coaching group focuses on developing a different area, as its name suggests, such as performing, hip hop freestyle and choreography integration. The collective is founded and coached by Eme Tähtinen, Jesse Vaskela and Milka Salokangas.

Rare Batch
Rare Batch is a street dance formation of dancers over the age of 31. This is no ordinary group, as the team partly practices remotely in the United States with the group’s choreographer Anna Stevenson, while also practicing choreography in Finland with the group’s other coach Amanda Fremling. The group mainly practices competition choreography and related street dance techniques.
Rare Batch is a team of gold diggers, who year after year achieves prestigious competition success and medals in age-group championships and reviews.

Over 31-year olds’ small groups and showcases
VKTY’s over-31 coaching groups have been hugely popular ever since Finland started organizing its own competitions for this age group. Our first street dance formation, Sprainz, made history by winning 5 championships and placing once in bronze in consecutive years. Many other groups have also been extremely successful.
Currently, the over-31 groups include, in addition to the Rare Batch formation, BluSteppers, Xperienz and Vintage showcases, and the OMGoldiez small group. Groups are applied for once a year through auditions or during additional searches.
