Vantaan Katutanssiyhdistys (Vantaa Street Dance Association) also known as VKTY, is an association and a dance school founded in 2014. We have hundreds of dancers participating our classes weekly– from children to pensioners and from beginners to advanced dancers!

We have dance classes for dancers of all ages and skill levels and we also have our own dance coaching groups. We also organize various events and workshops for street dancers.

The purpose of the organization is to promote dance and dance culture nationwide, with a focus on street dances. Our main principles are quality, transparency and communality.

With us, you can participate in our weekly dance classes or dance more ambitiously in our coaching groups. We also organise various street dance event and workshops.

Most of our classes focus around hiphop but you can find other street dance styles represented in our weekly schedule as well for example showjazz, commercial and ministreet classes.

Trying out classes

You can try out our weekly classes for free one (1) time per dance course. If you participate the same class again or if you don’t cancel your enrollment by email before the same course continues the following week, it is viewed as signing up for the course and VKTY will send you an invoice for the semester fee (+ membership fee if you are a new member).
