Vantaa Street Dance Association
Vantaan Katutanssiyhdistys (Vantaa Street Dance Association) also known as VKTY, is an association and a dance school founded in 2014. We have hundreds of dancers participating our classes weekly– from children to pensioners and from beginners to advanced dancers!
We have dance classes for dancers of all ages and skill levels and we also have our own dance coaching groups. We also organize various events and workshops for street dancers.
The purpose of the organization is to promote dance and dance culture nationwide, with a focus on street dances. Our main principles are quality, transparency and communality.
With us, you can participate in our weekly dance classes or dance more ambitiously in our coaching groups. We also organise various street dance event and workshops.
Most of our classes focus around hiphop but you can find other street dance styles represented in our weekly schedule as well for example showjazz, commercial and ministreet classes.
Trial classes
For hobby classes, you can try out VKTY’s classes free of charge once (1) per dance course per season. You must register for the trial class in advance in myClub. Please read the instructions here.

Winter frolic
The event takes place on 16.2.2026 - 20.2.2026 and starts on Monday at 17.00.

Children's dance classes
ages 4-12
From here you can find classes that are suitable for children aged 4–12.
Youth's dance classes
ages 13-17
From here you can find classes suitable for teenagers aged 13-17.
Adults' dance classes
age 18+
From here you can find dance classes suitable for adults.
Dancing is affordable with us!
You can choose your preferred ticket type of our versatile options – semester fee, serial ticket and Anytime card. You can choose the ticket type based on how often you want to attend dance classes and how many different classes you are planning to attend. VKTY membership is required for all dancers with all ticket types. All the prices can be found on the price list.

With our serial tickets you can attend classes by your choice and time. We have 5x and 10x tickets available for different lenghts.

You can support VKTY with a supporting membership! With your support we will contribute for example to supporting the dance hobby in disadvantaged families.
